He is survived by two sons, Michael Brown (Sherri) and Lantz Day; two daughters, Chantel Jones (Greg) and Macy Day; life partner, Teresa Meier; three brothers, James Day, Joseph Day, and Vannesse Pollard; four sisters, Clarice Comfort, Ruth Cook, Alvira Flowers, and Cynthia Day; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Pilgrim Baptist Church on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12:00 pm, with a visitation from 10-12:00 pm at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
