Virginia "Susie Lee" Milligan

Virginia (Susie Lee) Milligan, 66, of Stafford, Virginia was transferred to her heavenly home, Friday, September 17, 2010.

Susie was born November 5, 1943 in Iaeger, West Virginia, to Lifus and Jane Lester Lee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Junior, Jesse, John L., Dennis and Lesile Lee and sisters, Katie Lewis and Bessie Banks.

Susie was Postmistress for over 20 years at the Ruby Post Office in Ruby, Virginia where she retired from. After her retirement she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and all their sporting events, family and listening to Elvis music.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Daymond; her son Grady, and his wife Debbie, and her beloved grandchildren Samantha, Shelby, and Grayson of Stafford, VA., and Daymond E. Milligan and family of Ohio.

She is also survived by two brothers, Bill Lee of Prescott Valley, AZ and Larry Lee, of Stafford, VA.; her sister, Mary Stroz of Stafford, VA and a very special friend Marcia Rodgers.

Her remains rest at the Stafford Chapel of the Mullins & Thompson Funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, Sept 21, 2010 and where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept 22 at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a College Fund for her grandchildren.
