She is survived by her husband Joseph E. Sawyer of Douglasville, GA. Sister Mildred Lee of Afton Va. Sister Dorothy Carder of Unionville, Va. Brother Jerry Potter and his wife Terri of Durant, Ok. Her children Deborah Smith, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Timothy Smith of Keysville, Virginiaa, Daniel Smith and his wife Katrina, of Alabaster, Ala. Diane Wood of Daytona Beach, FL. Many grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mary Potter, her brother Herbert and Faye Potter, her sisters Arline Potter, and Dolly Holdren. Niece Lucille Lee, and three children, Sarah, Ruth, and Andrew Smith. The family will have a memorial service at Golden Living Nursing Home on Tuesday September 6th at 2:30pm.
