He was born on November 21, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William Lee and Matilda Elizabeth (Ballmann) Baker.
Bill retired in the early 2010s after working many years as an Electrical Engineer at Dalgren Naval Base.
He was an avid collector, and firearm enthusiast.
Bill was very tech savvy, and highly independent. He had a special interest in emergency preparedness, and ensured his family were always provided adequate provisions that were up to his standards, so they would all be ready for whatever might happen.
Bills family could always look forward to some sort of car survival kit gifted by him at Christmas, ensuring they all be safe on or off the road, during all weather and seasons.
He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Predeceased by his parents: William and Matilda Baker; his brother, David Thomas Baker and his brother-in-law, Eric Leonard Stevens.
