Tina, our bond can never be broken. We've been friends for 30 years. I've known BJ since he was a child. My favorite memory of him is the croquet game. I know we all still laugh about that every time we talk. I was fortunate enough to have BJ in my life everyday over the summer. I enjoyed reconnecting with him. Such a sweet child as always, even though he is an adult he will always be a child to me. I'm heartbroken over his death. I'm sad that I'm not there for you in person. But know that I'm always here my phone anytime you need me. Merinda Taylor

"My little man"
Words cannot express the sadness I feel in my heart. So many memories of playing cards, swimming in the pool, playing croquet and hide and seek when it was so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. I have always had a special place in my heart for you BJ and it will always be there. I remember when you stayed with me and Amanda and she told you about the limitation on cookies and only one bottle of water a day and you believed her! Such a teddy bear of a big guy with a heart to match. I could go on and on but I will see you one day again in heaven, so until then I will be cheering your Cowboys. I hope you and your Dad are driving a big rig around the clouds.

Thanks for being a great brother to my girls and Uncle to Aubrea she loves you. Thanks for all the love you gave to Elizabeth mostly thanks for being a son to me. Through the ups and downs and all arounds, one thing is for sure; BJ was one of kind. No one could hate the Redskins more or yell as loudly at the TV coaching the Cowboys. No one will ever take it as personal as B, when the Cowboys lost. BJ was the ONLY friend to visit me in the hospital the day my son was born. He always asked my Daughter if she had a job yet and she is broken that she cannot tell him today that she does indeed have a job! I have shared many long and hard talks with BJ. Shown him the toughest of love many times. No matter the time or distance, he was always there. Just days before his death, he reached out to check on me and the kids. No matter where life was taking him, his heart truly was the biggest part of him, even when at times, it was hard to tell. I will never be able to listen to "Jackson" by Johnny Cash without wishing my kareoke partner was standing next to me. Looking back, there are SO MANY great memories with my friend. Beej, I hope you have found the peace you have always searched for and continue to watch over all of us still here. 10-4 Good Buddy, Turbo, out. 💜
