William Dale Maynard

William Dale Maynard, 55, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. William was born on January 28, 1967 to Julius Lee Maynard and Hazel Virginia Judd in Madison, Tennessee. William was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and friend. William was a quiet, steady, and gentle man who always put his family first. He also served 8 years in the Third Armored Division in the United States Army. William worked at Averitt as a Logistics Manager serving Gordon Paper in the Virginia Beach area. William and Melissa R. Phillips were married for 21 years. They had two sons together, Elijah Cole Maynard and Samuel Ethan Maynard. William is survived by one brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Jamie Maynard of Kettering, OH and one sister Nancy Elizabeth Maynard of Cookeville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father Julius Lee Maynard. There will be a Life Celebration at a later date.
