The son of the late William R. and Louise (Leary) Newton, born on October 26, 1951 in Fredericksburg, VA. He was predeceased by his significant other, Ginny Newton. Bobby was a retired brick mason who enjoyed drag racing, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Christina M. Hodgson and husband Brian of King George, VA; two sisters, Jerri Galyen and husband Mike of Spotsylvania, VA, Catherine Johnson and husband Dave of Suffolk, VA.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
