Bonnie Kay Dayton

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Bonnie was born September 7, 1948 in Springfield, Illinois to Lendell and Hazel Sparks Decker and they preceded her in death. She was married to Elmer “Joe” Dayton on January 6, 1982 in Fayette, Missouri and he preceded her in death in 2013. Bonnie will be best remembered for loving to spend time with her grand babies and great-grand babies.

She is survived by daughters, Lisa (Melvin) Underwood of Fulton and Cynthia Azevado of Barstow, California; son, Lendell (Vikkie) Elder of Weatherford, Texas; step-daughter, Theresa Dayton of Clinton, Missouri; step-sons, Darren Dayton of Fulton and Jason Dayton of Springfield, Missouri; brothers, George (Norma) Decker and Norman Thomas Decker all of New Franklin, Missouri; sister, Vernice Mae of Arizona along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a very special friend, Wilma Mickey of Russellville, Missouri.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Lendell Lee Decker and sister, LaVivian Lou. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Foundation, 1701 N. Beauregard Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22311.
