

Bonnie was born on November 11, 1930, in Hams Prairie, MO the daughter of James Whorton and Laura Belle (Vincent) Mosley, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on December 10, 1950, in Hams Prairie, MO to Francis O. McVeigh who preceded her in death in 2012.
Bonnie graduated from Mokane High School, class of 1948 as the Valedictorian. She was a long-time insurance agent for Overstreet, Wilson, Lightner Agency. She also was a long-time tax preparer and was still preparing tax returns at the age of 94. She attended First Baptist Church, Carrington Baptist Church and Living Bread Church. She traveled extensively enjoying both domestic and international trips. She and Francis also camped many years with Poor Callawegians Camping Club.
Survivors include: two sons, James McVeigh and Richard McVeigh (Tammy); one daughter Linda McVeigh; two grandchildren, Chad McVeigh and Jayme Helms (Ken); 4 step-grandchildren, Ryan Henry (Ashley), Kayla Goodwin, Julie Uhls (Chad), Cindy Beckmeyer (Brian); two great-grandchildren and 9 step great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
