

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Bruce was born April 25, 1935 in Fulton to Jesse and Georgia Lucas Halsey who preceded him in death. He married Betty Salmons on November 10, 1955 in Fulton and she survives.
Bruce worked many years at Harbison-Walker until his retirement in 1991 and he was a long time member of Church of God Holiness in Fulton.
He enjoyed billiards, collecting guns, Aladdin lamps and repairing lawn mowers and tractors but his greatest joy was teasing and playing with his grandchildren.
Bruce is also survived by his daughter, Karen Halsey- Walker (Don) of Fulton; sister, Ruby Halsey-Wallace of Fulton; grandchildren, Tonya Carter- Day (Jimmy), Karrena Carter, Abe Walker and Storm Walker; thirteen great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Boyd Bruce Halsey, Jr.; 5brothers and 2 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of God Holiness or Dementia Society of America both in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
