Caroline Joyce Atterberry

Caroline Joyce Atterberry, 75, of Calwood, Missouri passed away on June 18, 2016 at her home.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Crowson at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Old Auxvasse Nine Mile Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21 at the funeral home.

Joyce was born on October 2, 1940 in Reform, Missouri to Abraham and Claudia O’Neal Weatherby and they preceded her in death. She was married on April 3, 1958 in Fulton to Harvie Joe Atterberry and he survives.

Joyce was a 33 year member of Old Auxvasse Nine Mile Presbyterian Church and was active in the Church Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Montgomery County Old Thresher’s Association.

She enjoyed playing music, quilting and all types of needlework, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is also survived by three sons, Harvie Gene (Candy) Atterberry, David W. (Susan) Atterberry and Paul L. ( Jody) Atterberry all of Fulton; sister, Rosanna (LeRoy) Stiers of Fulton; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Joyce was also preceded in death by one sister, Margie Fay Christian and one great-grandson, Damien Levi Atterberry.
