Clarissa M. ‘Kisa’ McCawley, 67, of Fulton passed away July 29, 2011 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was born December 3, 1944 in Kansas, the daughter of William ‘Earn’ and Edna McCawley.
Growing up in California, Kisa lived briefly in Guam and then Weaubleau, Mo. as a Head Start teaching assistant. She moved to Columbia in 1971 and worked at Mid Missouri Mental Health Center as an Activity Therapist in the Occupational Therapy Dept. Retiring in 1994 she moved to Rolla, Mo. and then to Fulton, Mo. in 2010.
Kisa was an artist selling watercolors, sketches, drawings, and China paintings.
She is survived by one brother, Edward McCawley of Tempe, Arizona and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 20 at the Columbarium of Columbia Cemetery, 30 East Broadway, Columbia, Mo, with Chaplain Dan Russell officiating.
