David was born on August 21, 1959 in Fulton, MO the son of Albert and Leona (Kidwell) Anderson who preceded him in death. He graduated from Fulton High School and was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was married on November 11, 2017 in Fulton, MO to Sherry Baker who survives of the home.
David was a corrections officer for the State of Missouri and also a minister, marrying many couples in the surrounding area. He was a NA leader and was involved in Break Away Group and a strong advocate for recovering addicts. He started Blessing Shed in Fulton, MO, donating many items to people in need. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary Anderson.
Other survivors include: two sons, James Anderson (Rosanna) and James McWilliams (Sophie); one daughter, Micha McWilliams; eight grandchildren; two step-sons, Joey Brandenburg (Sherry) and Derek Jett (Brittany) and eight step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Heartland Church, Fulton MO. Memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the church with Rev. Jason Buckwalter officiating.
