Elizabeth Leanne Reed

Elizabeth LeAnne Reed, age 56, took her last breath and joined the Lord at 7:55am on Sunday November 9, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1969 in Alexandria Virginia to John Glen and Iva Dean Reed. She lived in Kingdom City, Missouri where she attended elementary through high school and graduated from North Callaway High School in 1987. She lived in the San Francisco Bay area of California, until she had enough of the earthquakes. She moved to San Antonio,Texas where she met the love of her life and married Jay Grant on September 18, 2010 They lived together in Helotes,Texas for 10 years until moving to Corpus Christi. Elizabeth worked as a personal trainer, a General Manager at Gold's Gym and a lead designer/salesperson at Premier Pools.

Elizabeth was loved by everyone who knew her and she was kind to everyone she met. She collected and kept her friends for life. Elizabeth enjoyed the beach, fishing, buying gifts and making bead crosses to give away. She will always be remembered for her giving heart, strength and ambition.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Reed in 2008 and Iva Dean in 2020.

Those left to honor her memory are:

Elizabeth’s husband Jay Grant and two sons Trevor and Gunner;

three siblings, John and Mark Reed and Mireille Green;

Six nieces and two nephews: Stephanie, Rachelle, Angie, Lena, Sophia, Mathew, Jason, and Charlesie; Five great nieces and three great nephews: Ivy, Darren, Wyatt, Ila, Tanner, Penny, Ahri, Gemma and two on the way who will not have the pleasure of knowing their Great Aunt Elizabeth; her closest friends Kim Edgemeon, Pam Doss and her daughter Hannah; three beloved dogs: Doc, Daisy and Vader.

She was loved by so many that all cannot be listed but she treasured every friendship.
