Gordon Lee Plaster

Gordon was born on December 5, 1953 in Portland, MO the son of George and Mary (Magruder) Plaster who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on March 4, 1989 in Fulton, MO to Hazel Leeper who preceded him in death on April 5, 2023. He was a veteran of the US Army as a radio operator. Gordon retired from Fulton State Hospital in 2011 as a security aide. After retirement, he worked part-time at Riverview Nursing Home in Mokane, MO. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, watching football, rescuing animals and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: two sons, Gus Plaster (Nikkii) of Fulton, MO and Jacob Plaster of Fulton, MO; step-children, Kimberly Thomas (Joe), Darla Pritchard and Dana Jennings (Mark), and Brent Teel; one brother, Dennis Plaster; one sister, Peggy Wyman; special grandson, Dalton Teel; 11 grandchildren, Quentin, Lily Annabelle, Kynslee, Lynsey, Kacie, Joshua, Boone, Wesley, Mallory, and Mattie, two great-grandchildren, Kaelei and Hazelee; two half-brothers, Ronald Adams and Ed Adams; two half-sisters, Euphemia Thompson and Cecilia Pounds and his beloved animals, Shadow, Nova and Kitty Kitty. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sheila Plaster and Martha Kimbell.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:00 am at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO.
