John was born December 24, 1949, in Fulton, MO the son of William and Virginia (Trimble) Case who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. John retired in 2000 from Fulton State Hospital as an electrician. He was an avid outdoorsman, after retirement he enjoyed living on his land near Mokane and being in the woods. He spent countless hours walking, fishing, camping and spending time by the creek. John also loved listening to classic rock and roll and being around his family.
Survivors include: one daughter, Misty Dawson; one son, Erik Case; two brothers, Charles Case (Rhonda) and Bob Case; four grandchildren, Trevor Dawson, Kyla Dawson, Eric Jurgle and Brittany “Nikki” Case and five great grandchildren, Flynn, Peyton, Hailey, Ashton and Harper. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Case and Jimmy Case.
Memorial services will be held at Debo Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 5:00 pm with Chaplain Russ Pflasterer officiating.
