John, you're presence was missed at the family gathering this year. Rest In Peace.

John was my step dad. I remember him coming into our life at a time of great need, and stepping up. He was there for us whenever we asked for it. In my adult life he was a wonderful emotional support and gave advice on my relationships. He listened without judgment, and was sincere in his offering. I miss you John every day, and I hope to see you and give you a big squeezy hug in whatever comes next.

John was a friend, mentor and father figure. It was his encouragement and guidance the helped me confront my fears and return to college. Thank you, John, for your positivity, encouragement, kindness and understanding. Thank you, also, for being my mentor through our work on the old 2GetHelp group with Matt. I will never forget the many lessons you taught me all those years ago. I know your passing is merely a transition of life, not a loss of life, yet this world is not as bright without you in it. You are loved and missed by so many, my friend. My continued prayers for your family.

Sincerely,

Shannon

you will be missed brother John , my friend - Love your Brother and friend , Brother Jamie Yehmiyah Churan :) HalLeLu YAHshua MessiYAH :)

John loved his life work, family, friends, music and his Elohim. He was always the gentle man with broad shoulders that held the world while he met life face on. He never hid from conflict but instead was the peacemaker. Ever ready to answer a call for assistance. Constantly planning his next message and music plans, he worked day and night. Some evenings I could take him away, or he would take me away, and we would find our laughter again. I don't want to forget him, he was my best friend who was also my anchor. I pray for peace in these troubled seas.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. May your family be comforted, knowing all the great memories you hold in your heart.
Love & Peace,
Mary Nurrenbern

I enjoyed working with John at the
Family Communication Center/Fresno Youth Advocates during the 90's and worshipping Yahweh
with him and his family at their home on Van Ness in Fresno CA. I remember getting baptized at the YMCA. May Yahweh comfort them at this his homecoming.

John was my brother -in-law however, he was a brother in Christ, friend, and he will be missed until we meet again! I pray that comfort is flowing to my sister Liz and family and I wish I was able to go out to be there for them. I love them all very much. I pray for the peace that passes all understanding to be on all. Love kathie

Kent, Melody, Kevin, David and the Staff of Debo Funeral Home wish to express our sympathy to John's family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you all during this difficult time.

John Fisher was my Step Dad, and I loved him very much. He was always a gentle and kind influence in my life. It's hard to believe he is really gone, but his last year was a really great one filled with trips to see family, two weddings, a family reunion and a snorkeling trip! It's funny to think that John was square dancing just one month before his first stroke. John, we will all miss you terribly. Rest in Peace, and see you on the other side.
