Kevin was born on June 19, 1962, in Fulton, MO, the son of Robert and Louetta (Polacek) Martin, who preceded him in death. On June 16, 1984, at Thurmond Chapel in Fulton, MO, he was united in marriage to Deborah “Debbie” Kemp. He worked for Danuser as a machinist from 1987 until his retirement in 2024. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman. He spent countless hours fishing, hunting, boating and camping at the Lake of the Ozarks. However, his true passion was his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, BBQs, and his greatest joy was spending time with his grandsons. He also enjoyed watching Mizzou football and the Kansas City Chiefs. Kevin was a devoted and loving husband, father, papa, brother and uncle and will be missed.
Survivors include: his wife, Debbie of the home; one son, Matthew Martin (Kaitlynn) of Killeen, TX; one daughter, Heather Martin (Manuel Maxwell) of Millersburg, MO; three sisters, Brenda Rigdon of Fulton, MO, Renita Terry of Fulton, MO and Lisa Carlisle (Allen) of Middletown, MO; two grandsons, Scott Maxwell and Aidan Maxwell; his buddy, Romeo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Debo Funeral Home from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Sarah Merz officiating. Entombment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
