Born November 2, 1946, to J.W. and Lucille Hall in Lilbourn, Missouri.
Larry graduated high school from Quenemo, Kansas and then joined the United States Marine Corp serving proudly until his honorable discharge in 1968.
On March 19, 1967, he married Patricia House and they remained married for the next 60 years.
Larry worked for the United States Post Office as a letter carrier and later a supervisor, even serving as the acting Postmaster at several locations in central Missouri. Larry enjoyed working on vehicles and ran his own garage where he was able to rebuild mustangs into show cars. He also enjoyed working with wood building a lot of furniture for family and friends.
After retiring from the Post Office, he went to work for Modern Litho in Jeff City for over 10 years, retiring again in 2013.
He enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling his grandchildren.
Larry was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, Stan Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; his son, Donnie (Cindy) Hall; his daughter, Shawn (Cory) Baise; sister, Kathy (Rob) Hyder; grandchildren, Heather (Josh) Huddelston, Caleb (Maddy) Hall, Amanda Hall, Alexis Wetherell, Tyler (Haley) Wetherell, Kelsey Wetherell; great grandchildren, Hunter, Jacob, Jordan, Henley, Lennon, and baby girl Barnes due in January; and a lot of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:30 AM; Thursday September 17, 2026, at Debo Funeral Home with a visitation from 10-11:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will take place in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers.
