

Linda was born on October 4, 1956, in Fulton, MO the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Foster) Lechner who preceded her in death. On January 20, 1984, she was united in marriage to Michael Palmer in Fulton, MO, who preceded her in death on June 17, 2025. She worked at Casey’s General Store in Fulton, MO as the store manager for several years, before retiring. Linda was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, MO, where she supported various committees and functions, such as Awana’s, children’s church and the youth sports programs. Linda was a caregiver at heart and was passionate about taking care of people. However, her greatest passion was being a grandma and spending time with them meant more to her than anything. Her devotion to her family never went unnoticed and will leave a lasting impression on them for generations to come. Linda's spare time was spent gardening and supporting the Clark, MO Amish community by patronizing their stores and providing transportation services.
Survivors include: two sons, Darrel Wilmsmeyer (Manda) and Melvin Wilmsmeyer both of Fulton, MO; one daughter, Donna Landers (Mike) of Fulton, MO; eight grandchildren, Audrey Wilmsmeyer (Derek), Laci Wilmsmeyer (Dylan), Levi Wilmsmeyer, Brooke Phillips (Drew), Chase Phillips (Emma), Rylee Lander, Dalten Ford and Jaedon Ford of Fulton, MO; three great-grandchildren, Faith Onstott, Haven Onstott, and Elizabeth Crowder of Fulton, MO; one brother, Alfred Lechner of New Bloomfield, MO; niece, Hannah Thomas (Caleb), nephew, Holden Lechner (Dakota) and great-niece, Paige Lechner. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mamie Lechner.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, MO with Rev. Tyler Murphy officiating.
