Accept my sympathy for the loss of a great mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend. I taught with her for many years at SC and we had many conversations and fun times. Mr. Monroe was the principal at that time and a dear friend, too. My mother, Nell Howard, thought so much of Ruth as they worked together during those days. Keep all you good memories deep in your heart and know that she was loved by many. Shirley Howard Thomas
