Michael Arthur Huighe

Michael Arthur Huighe, 74, Fulton, MO, peacefully entered his heavenly home Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.
Michael was born on May 8, 1946 in St. Louis, MO the son of Arthur and Mary Ann (Tierney) Huighe who preceded him in death. On July 20, 1968 he was married to Barbara Ent in St. Louis, MO. They were faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fulton, MO, where they were sealed for eternity at the Manti Utah Temple on April 8, 1975 and he was also an ordained high priest in the Church. Michael was a veteran of the US Army, serving for over 20 years until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Huighe of Fulton, MO; three sons, Michael Huighe Jr of South Carolina, Wayne Huighe of Fulton, MO and Kenny Huighe of Fulton, MO; one daughter Tammy Rubio of Cape Girardeau, MO; three brothers, Tom Huighe, Dennis Huighe and Art Huighe; one sister, Mary Elder and four grandchildren, Alex Huighe, Austin Huighe, Heather Huighe and Jessica Rubio.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 3, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fulton, MO with Bishop Gary Nevels officiating.
