Michelle “Shelly” Lynn Schroer, 47, of Columbia, Missouri passed away on January 30, 2019 at University Hospital in Columbia. Shelly was born on June 14, 1971 in Fulton to Charles Byrd and Linda Fox. She is survived by her parents, Charles and Marsha Byrd of Fulton; and her birth-mother, Linda Fox Browning of Fulton; two daughters, Tristina (William) Atterberry of Mexico, Missouri and Lauren Schroer of Fulton; two sons, Joshua Byrd of Fulton and Colton (Kayla) Schroer of Hallsville, Missouri; brother, Michael “Dusty” (Bridgitte) Byrd and sister, Angela Browning both of Fulton. She also leaves behind a love one, Victor Vaughn, Sr. of Columbia, Missouri, four grandchildren; Ryan, Logan and Ayden Atterberry and Layla Schroer. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Byrd Simmons. Shelly attended Fulton Public Schools. She loved to cook and bake. Shelly loved her children and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Shelly had worked at Bridgeway in Fulton as a certified medical aide, she loved being with her residents.

Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Debo Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veteran’s National Suicide Prevention in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
