Nancy Lou Rice

Nancy was born on June 21, 1931, the daughter of Robert Ray and Nora Ann (Wilkinson) Suggett in McCredie, MO. She met her husband, Fred Rice while attending Fulton High School and they married once he returned home from active-duty Army in Korea. They then moved to Pueblo, CO. It was there they had their careers, two children and met so many lifetime friends.

Survivors include: two daughters, Karen Scobbie (Darren) of St Louis, MO and Kathleen Anthony (Carl) of Columbia, MO; three grandchildren, Lauren Goetz of St. Louis, MO, Paul Goetz of Pasadena, CA, and Aeron Anthony of Columbia, MO; two great grandchildren, Kaimen Smith and Bella Farrar; one brother, Bob Suggett of Madison, IN; one sister Freddie Fike of Blue Springs, MO and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents Ray and Nora Suggett and her husband Fred Rice.

If you knew Nancy, you know she loved her family and friends immensely. We will miss her, but we praise God she is now in a place without fear or pain.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 10:00 am at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO with Pastor Steve Van Drimmelen officiating. Private family inurnment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Fulton, MO.
