Peggy was born on January 3, 1943 in Steedman, MO the daughter of Harry and Georgia (Gilman) Martin who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage in February 1963 in Reform, MO to Billy Lewis Diehl who preceded her in death on May 20, 1987. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, MO. Peggy enjoyed quilting, reading her Bible, playing Skipbo with her step-granddaughter, dancing, going to the Senior Center and having lunch and playing cards with her friends.
Survivors include: godson, Marvin Kemp (Susie) of Mokane, MO; one sister, Betty Thurman of Fulton, MO; step-daughter, Stephanie Benson of Fulton, MO; three step-grandchildren, Davonte Eston, Faith Benson and Emma Benson and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Marvin Martin, Robert Martin, Elmer Martin and James Martin and three sisters, Mildred Adams, Katherine Harrison and Clara Kelsey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO.
