Roberta was born October 18, 1965 in Fulton, Missouri, a daughter of Robert Lee Shirley and Margaret Marie Adair Shirley. Roberta is survived by her mother, Margaret Marie Brookins and her husband, Lawrence; son, Michael Nickens Jr; daughter, Matasha Nickens; three sisters, Wanda Gunn, Debra Weiser and Sharon Jansen (husband Leonard)and three brothers, James (wife Pat), Louis (wife Katherine) and Michael (wife Kathy)Shirley. Four grandchildren, Taywon, Kaymon, Alaeh Nicholson and Leiland Nickens and numerous extended family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be at Central Christian Church Cemetery in Fulton, Missouri.
