Sam Grabb Jr.

Sam was born on September 18, 1928 in Monticello, IL the son of Sam and Daisy (Gascoigne) Grabb who preceded him in death. In 1950, he was united in marriage to June Ellen Golden in Illinois. Sam was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Callaway Christian Church in Fulton, MO. He retired in 1985 from John Deere as their parts manager. Sam enjoyed the outdoors and gardening and will be missed by his family.

Survivors include: three sons, Steve Grabb (Pat) of Fulton, MO, Michael Grabb (Kelly) of Pasadena, TX and Brett Grabb (Sharon) of Crystal River, FL; one daughter, Helen Merrell (Arvin) of Aledo, TX; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, June Grabb in 1991; one daughter, Sharol Phillips; one great-grandson, Jeffrey Thompson Jr and two sisters.

Sam has requested to be cremated and will be inurned in the Monticello Township Cemetery in Monticello, IL at a later date.
