Alma Joanna Warren

Alma Joanna O'Rear Warren, 78, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully January 5, 2025. Born on October 29, 1946, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Jones O Rear and Joanna Griffey O'Rear. Alma was preceded in death by her parents and devoted husband, Eugene "Lee" Warren, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.

Alma's life was a testament to grace, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and dedication in the lives of her children: Joanna (Mike) Rowell, Virginia (Derek) Joseph, Gene (Kelly) Warren, and Marcia (Scott) Nally. She was the cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Jonathan) Breazeale, Robert (Caroline) Rowell, Gavin Joseph, Charlotte Joseph, Evelyn Rowell, Lauren Joseph, Sarah Frances Warren, Matthew Joseph, Jackson Nally, Faulkner Warren, and Marianne Nally.

Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments, always offering encouragement and wisdom. Alma Jo will be remembered for her warm spirit, sharp wit, and her ability to bring people together with her love and hospitality.

Services will be held at First United Methodist Church of Attalla, Alabama on Monday, January 13, 2025, with visitation beginning at noon followed by a service and reception.
