Annie Foree Knight

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Annie Foree Knight, age 92 of Leesburg, Formerly of Gadsden who passed away Saturday-May 7, 2011. Rev. Bruce Word and Rev. Danny Richey will officiate with burial at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing. Mrs. Knight was a native of Neel, AL, a longtime resident of Gadsden and retired from Pick A Burger Drive Inn as the night manager. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, South Gadsden and was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Knight and Grady Elkins. She is survived by two sons, Billy Knight and MSGMAJ John (Sandra) Elkins, two daughters, Betty (Kenneth) Whisenant and Nancy Knight, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Friends of the family will serve as Pallbearers. The family extends a special thanks to her son, Billy Knight for the love and care he gave, 9th Floor staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Dr. Duryea, Dr. Sinha, Dr. Jaiswal, Southern Cardiovascular Associates and Northeast Nephrology Associates. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
