Arthur Lamar "Jack" Livingston

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Ivalee Cemetery for Mr. Arthur Lamar “Jack” Livingston, age 82, of Rainbow City, AL who passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Jeremy Williams will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Jack had two major loves in his life, his family and gardening. He was an avid gardener and loved to share the vegetables of his crop with his neighbors, however with those vegetables always came a joke or two; the wonderful people in his beloved community, they were always kind and accepted the vegetables and the joke.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Livingston and Lorene Livingston; sisters, Karen Evans, Elizabeth Yerkey, and Linda Livingston; and brothers, James O. Livingston and Larry Livingston.

He is survived by his children, Jackie Pearce, and Janet (Arlington) Gilbreath; sisters, Debra (Richard) Duncan, and Janice Armstrong; brother, Billy Livingston; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer) Williams, and Abby (Brandon) Jones; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Payton Jones, and Lillian Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Lane Castleberry, and hospice nurse, Pam Baker, of Kindred Hospice.
