

Funeral Services will be held today, Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Mrs. Barbara Wheeler Farley, 79, Attalla who passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. Rev. Gary Webb and Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Church Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Mrs. Farley was a native of Etowah County. She was a 1952 graduate of Gadsden high School. Mrs. Farley was of the Baptist Faith and last attended Siberton Baptist Church and the ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olan E. Farley, infant daughter, Rebecca Ann Farley, parents, Virgil and Gladys (Spurlock) Wheeler, mother and father-in-law, Alton and Winnie Farley, brothers-in-law, Calvin Mayo, Carlos Gonzalez, Ralph and Jack Farley, sisters-in-law, Nell Farley and Joyce Farley.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Farley and Fiance Randy Maroney , son, Brian Farley and wife Kaye and their children, Bryan Robertson, Jon Crawford and Allison Trimbel, great grandchildren, Carson and Hayden Robertson, Madison Crawford, Walker Trimbel and Zoe Barclay, sister, Carolyn Montanari, sister-in-law, Vivian Mayo, beloved pet “Sam”, special friends, Kay Burt, Betty Elliott and Terreshia Nixon.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Robertson, Jon Crawford, Carson Robertson, John, James and Mark Mayo.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Steve Lee.
The family extends a special thanks to Pam Golden for her loving care, Southern Cardiovascular Drs. and staff, Dr. Tom Corley and staff and Alacare Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
