

Barbara was a woman of strong faith who loved the Lord with her whole heart. Her life reflected that faith through her kindness, generosity, and the genuine love she shared with everyone she met. She cherished her family deeply, treasured her many friendships, and truly lived life to the fullest. Known for her captivating smile and joyful presence, Barbara had a way of lighting up a room and making others feel welcome and valued. Her favorite saying, “Allllright!!!”, perfectly captured her upbeat spirit and enthusiasm for life.
Funeral services will be held at Collier Butler Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Matthew Mills officiating. Visitation will be December 18, 2025, from 10:30a.m to 12:30p.m. Service hour at 12:30p.m followed by burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Haney is survived by her children: Darale Haney, Anita Whittemore (Tim), Dickie Haney, Elaine Wagnon (Alan), and Cynthia Sims (Michael). She was a loving grandmother to Craig Whittemore, Deyna Williams (Josh), Cammy Floyd (Jason), Derrick Whittemore, Kimberly Lorren (Jeremy), Rachel Warren (Nathan), Joshua Haney, Darale Haney (Sarah), Amanda Lansdale (Josh), Amber Haney, Kristin Ward (Caleb), and Charlie Haney (Lydia). She was also blessed with 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by her sisters, Silvey Ford and Catherine Milam; her very special friend, Sidney Echols; and her beloved fur babies, who brought her much joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Connie Hooks; her beloved husband of 40 years, Billy Gene Haney; her son, Billy Gene Haney, Jr.; her brother, Dewitt Hooks; her granddaughter, Jennifer Haney; and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Whittemore Barnes.
Pallbearers will be her sons, grandsons, and nephews.
Barbara Ann Haney leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, joy, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed, but her joyful spirit and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
