Mrs. Barbara Joyce Routon

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday-February 16, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Barbara Joyce Routon, Southside, who passed away Sunday-February 13, 2011. Rev. Bill Drummons will officiate with burial at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.

Mrs. Routon was a graduate of Emma Sansom High School and a long time member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Roy Routon, parents Roy and Mamie Wood and sister, Ann Powell.

She is survived by her children, Zeke, Mitch, Stan (Debra) Routon and June Hennecy, grandchildren, Madison, Kyle, Kelsey, Kaleigh Routon, Meaghan, Brooke, Jaycie and Clay Routon and Justin Hennecy.

Special friends, J.L. and Peggy McGlaughn , James and Becky Oglesby and Thomas and Harriet McMeekin.

Pallbearers will be, J. L. McGlaughn, Jimmy McGlaughn, Tommy Wright, Slade Kilgo, Wendell Price and Johnny Brothers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital of Birmingham or the American Kidney Foundation.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
