Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Berthell Veal, 80, North Gadsden, who died Thursday March 8, 2012,. Rev. George Lankford will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Mrs. Veal was born in Jackson County on May 22, 1931. She had a great love for animals, sewing, gardening and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Judy Pruitt, Granddaughters Melinda Martin and Brandy Brown, And Great-granddaughter Savannah Martin.
Survivors include: Daughters Janice Brown, Jennifer Ragsdale, and Debra Brown. Sons: Jerry, Johnny and James Veal and Dewayne Skipper. Brother Erbie Womack. Sister Lillian Wilson. Mrs. Veal had 20 Grandchildren and 30 Great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
