Betty Conner Taylor

Graveside services will be 12:30 pm Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Forrest Cemetery for Betty Conner Taylor, age 86, of Attalla, who passed away Monday, August 14, 2017. Rev. Bill Drummons and Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service is directing.

Mrs. Taylor was a loving and caring wife, mother, and “Granny.” She worked many years as a bookkeeper for A&P and Johnsons Giant Food. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Attalla.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Taylor; and parents, Ernest and Lethia Conner.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela T. (Tim) Weeks; son, Timothy L. Taylor; grandchildren, Holly W. Perry, Taylor L. (Kris) Weeks, Justin (Kempton)Taylor, and Matthew Taylor; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Perry, Greyson Perry, Anna Claire Weeks, Geer Weeks, Braelyn Taylor, and Lawson Taylor; and sister, Ann Sampson.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Weeks, Justin Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Danny Conner, Larry Noble, and Phil Green.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 am-12:00pm prior to the service.
