My aunt Betty Ann was like a second mother to Kathy, Jimmy, and me (Susan) and that special love from her will always be cherished. I have many memories , but my first and fondest are the trips we went on with Betty Ann and Edgar. She was the best cook, especially being able to do so much for a large group at her house. Betty Ann was always full of jokes and loud, but she could have the softest, sweetest, calming voice when needed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love,
Susan Studdard Hames

My Aunt Betty Ann was a Beautiful soul. Growing up whenever we would go to Alabama to visit my moms family we always begged to go to Betty Ann’s house first. She had the best laugh and was always warm and welcoming. I remember her fixing cucumber and onions in vinegar. I still fix that today. She also decorated a beautiful Christmas tree. She would wrap Angel Hair around the light bulbs. The best thing was that she always had animals. Making homemade ice cream taking turns sitting on top and turning the handle is a memory I’ll never forget. Sandra, Ovella, Sam, Jamie and Ricky you and your Mother are Very Loved.
