Mr. Chestnut joined his Heavenly family July 2, 2012.
He was a longtime resident of Hokes Bluff, and was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Dell (Coleman) Chestnut; parents, Guy and Evelyn Chestnut; and brother, Calvin Chestnut.
He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Carroll and Carol (Steve) Johnson; son, Jeff (Billie) Chestnut; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn (Emery) McMahan and Mary Wilbanks (Tommy) Homesly; brother, Lamar (Bobbie) Chestnut; one niece; and four nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy McMahan, Dustin McMahan, Rusty Wilbanks, Ray Chestnut, Wade Tumlin and Richard Lumpkin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Beans and Greens Breakfast Club.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening.
