Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Brenda Elkins McClellan, 64, of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013. Rev. Kenneth Patterson will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. McClellan was born and raised in Etowah County and graduated from Walnut Grove High School. She was a member of Warrior River Baptist Church. She managed Southtown Apartments for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Buster Elkins.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Bobby) Boles; grandson, Josh Green; brother, Jack (Juanita) Elkins; aunt, Irene Pate; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Cheryl McClellan.
Plants will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Etowah County Humane Society.

The family will accept friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 prior to the service.
