

Carolyn Cochran MCLester, age 84 of Gadsden Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband John Richard McLester. She is survived by her four children Mytesa Hall, Tanya Davis (Paul), Richie Tucker and John McLester. 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Brother Kenneth Cochran.
Carolyn was born to Chester and Katie Jane Cochran. She was one of twelve children. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a 1958 graduate of Etowah High School and for most of her life she was a stay at home mom and also worked as a seamstress.
The Rev. Charles Smith will officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
A service to honor and celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held at Collier Butler at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday 9/7/24 with visitation beginning at 12:00 prior to the service.
