

Funeral services for Carrie Thelma Boatwright Aultman, 81, Glencoe, will be 12:30 Tuesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Thelma passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011, at her home, after a sudden illness. Rev. Jack Smith will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
Thelma was born June 18, 1929, in Dalton, GA, to Mr. and Mrs. I.A. Boatwright. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Aultman, Sr.; two sons, Cecil Aultman, Jr. and Franklin Dale Aultman. Thelma was loved by everyone she met. She always put her family and friends first and always cared more about doing for others. She has been a member of Noccalula (Henry St.) Church of God since 1949, where she served as past president of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving Thelma will be her three children, Mary A. Green of Starke, FL, Doris A. Strickland of Gadsden, and Dr. Donnie Aultman of Shreveport, LA; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mae Aultman; sister, Mary Ruth Massey; brother, Rev. Billy Boatwright; special niece, Patsy Bennefield, who has been a constant source of love and support for the last two years; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joey Aultman, Cody Aultman, Brad Aultman, Todd Kirkland, John Strickland, and Patrick Bennefield. Honorary pallbearer will be Isaac Watts.

The family will be accepting friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
