I miss you so much, my dear friend Kathy. But I know Taya is with you giving you some comfort. Lots of snuggles too. You’re always in my heart.  I think of you every day. You are such a dear friend and I’m glad our kids made friends with each other too. I remember when they were riding the four wheeler together in the backyard.  I love you, my friend and you will always be with me.

Cathie, I sure do miss you. I miss our conversations about our love for Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. You always were beautiful inside and out. We talked about how much we love our grands. Your eyes would light up talking about them. It's been a year since you left, and it still doesn't seem real. I know I'll see you again one day, and we'll continue our conversations about Gatlinburg. 

I find it so hard to believe that Cathie has been gone for a year.  We should make the most of every day with those we love, time is so fleeting

I’ve known Cathie all my life, probably why I haven’t shared a memory before now. Her grandfather and my grandmother were brother and sister: with my grandparents we visited her grandparents fairly often growing up. Those were the days of big family dinners, kids being kids, grandma’s in the kitchen, grandpa’s talking on the front porch.  Rusty had gotten a new skateboard, Bevin, Tiffany and I were climbing a tree in front of their grandparents home in Gadsden. I had tried Rusty’s skateboard but decided tree climbing was better. I got my foot stuck in the tree and couldn’t get down. Ever the savior, Cathie came to my rescue.  Fast forward to uncle Terry’s death Cathie again came to my rescue when I was caring for my grandmother and her grandfather’s baby sister Lillian (Kitten) she was the one who spoke the words to me that I needed at the time to carry on.  We had been talking about getting together again for something besides funerals…& here we are: forever an angel watching over us along with her grandparents, my grandparents, aunt Kitten, uncle Terry and so many others that we miss that our memories were full of.  I’ll meet you again some sweet day

I'm so sad to read this. Cathie was such a beautiful young lady, and had a heart of gold. She and I often talked about our love for Gatlinburg, and especially her family. She absolutely adored her grandchildren. Cathie will be greatly missed by all the ones, who had the pleasure of knowing her. Gone too soon!! Fly high beautiful angel......no more pain

I’m so thankful for knowing you and the happiness you gave our family. I know Taia is up in heaven with you and keeping you company.  

Cathy was such a good friend. She entrusted me with her little chihuahua Taia, and we would get together and go eat and her and her children would come visit little Taia. I loved her like a sister. I am truly saddened to find out she is no longer here. I know she is in heaven, because she was a beautiful person 

Gone too soon.  There is no pain like that of losing a child and even though that pain never goes away it does get easier to bear over time. 
Cathie was so fortunate to have so much love from such a loving family. I feel your pain but their is so much Peace knowing that she was wrapped in the arms of Christ when she took her last breath. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
