Funeral Services will be at 2pm Monday, July 23, at Collier Butler Chapel for Charles Wesley "Tommy" Crowe, age 75, of Southside, who passed away on Friday July 20, 2018. Rev. Randy Gunter will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Charles was born in Gadsden to Herman "Sam" and Ruby Crowe. He was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and a graduate of Southside High School and Alabama School of Trades. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Republic Steel, LTV Steel, and then Gulf States Steel employed Charles for 36 years; and Anniston Army Depot for 10 years. Charles was a beloved son, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herman "Sam" and Ruby Crowe.
He is survived by his sisters Elsie D. Crowe and Sharon C. Draper (David); nephew Scott Draper; niece Kellie Weathington; great nieces Brooklyn and Ashlyn Draper; and great nephew Jaxon Draper. Special friends include Carolyn Bolton, Clyde and Tina Howard, and Gary Greene.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church or Southside Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Bill Chance, Joe Burns, Clyde Howard, Zac Vaughn, Dylan Keasler, and Tim Dail.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
