Charles Alan Storie, age 78, of Boaz, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Storie and his son Chris Storie. Charles is survived by his sons, Alan Storie and Scott Storie; grandchildren, Cole Storie, Anna Garret, Caleb Storie, Tanner Storie, Liza Storie, Jase Storie and Mason Storie; great-grandchildren, Adelaide Nicole Storie, Eloise Garret and Flynn Garret. Charles is also survived by his brother in law, David E. Bright; sister in law, Liz Bright; nephew, David Bright; niece, Tracy Bright Edwards; two half brothers, Ricky and Randy Quigley of Georgia. Charles worked as a Aerospace Mechanic for 39 years at Hayes International Aircraft/Pemco Aeroplex.
A visitation for Charles will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, 824 Rainbow Drive, P.O. Box 460, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM with David E. Bright officiating.
