CT, dear friend, I have missed you already - your calls, our laughs, and your ever-present humor and concern for me and my family. You are a friend forever, a very unique individual that brought so much joy to so many. How loved and missed you are by so many friends.

I was very sorry to hear yesterday that Charlie Tom had passed away. He was always fun to talk with and always could make me laugh. I was looking forward to seeing him at one of the Gadsden High School Class of '58 luncheons but have not made one in a long time and now won't be seeing Charlie Tom at one. My loss.

My sympathy to his family.

Sincerely, Eunice Stephens Smith
classmate at GHS and Jacksonville Sstate University

My beloved cousin, Charlie Tom, although health, time and distance served to separate us over the years, you were never far from my thoughts or prayers. I am so sorry I could not be there to say good-by. Please know that I was there with you in spirit. I love you and will cherish the memories ( so many still make me laugh ) until we are together again, in a place where circumstances will have no power to separate us ever again. You were the best of us, all blessed beyond measure to have known and loved you.
I love you always, Charlie Tom, and thank God for so richly blessing me with your presence in my life and family. You will live on in my memories, and this loss will keep my eyes fixed toward heaven until I see you again. Rest, CT. Until then...

Charl Tom (as we called you), I have never met a person like you and, I never will. You were one of a kind and loved by so many. It was so nice to see so many at your ceremony today, you deserve all that love. Ginger, Eric, Paul and I will miss you very much. Leave a space open for us in heaven so that we shall be together once again. I'll watch over your buddy Eric and your dear cousin Ginger as they mourn. We Love You Charl Tom. R.I.P.

Just found out the sad news about Charlie Tom. So wish I could be there today. When my mom died, when we got to the funeral home, he was the first person I saw. She so loved him too. My thoughts to the family. He was such a good friend to all, age didn't matter.

It is with sorrow that I received notice of Charlie Tom's death. He was always a loyal friend. He had great wit,and kept the group lively when we had our class of 58 luncheons. As we are out of state, Mike and I will not be able to pay our respects in person. Goodby to a good friend.
