I will always look back in great fondness of my sweet neighbor Cheryl. I will always remember how Cheryl always had some great snack if you visited her house. You would find something you had never tasted before (like potato candy) or something you had not tasted in years. She was really a little artist. She was always way better than everyone else at scrap-booking, sewing, decorating or genealogy. I always remember feeling that her home was so warm and comfortable. Cheryl's kindness made it like that.
I will miss her and will be praying for her family. I know they were her whole heart and these will be tough days ahead.
I pray they will have God's peace wash over them during this time.

Cheryl and I met in the 7th grade, at Litchfield Junior High School in East Gadsden, and became friends very quickly! For many years we were extremely close, spending nights with each other, going "cruising" around Gadsden, to football and basketball games, and just having fun all the time! We remained friends until the day she left us! I visited her at her daughter's home, then at Attalla Health Care, and we had fun just being together! This is the second close friend I've lost, but like the other one, I know that I will see her again, in Heaven! We talked about Heaven and she assured me she was tired of fighting cancer, and was ready to rest!!! I know she is at peace and I will miss her until GOD calls me home, to join her!!! We used to sit on my front porch as teenagers and sing at the top of our lungs, so I know GOD will use us in HIS CHOIR, singing His praises!!! Love you, Cheryl!!!

I loved Cheryl, we worked together at Health Tex on the folding table, Elaine Higdon, Cheryl and myself had many good times together, we went to many church services, Cheryl loved the Lord and her daughter Brandi very much, she loved talking about the Bible while we folded clothes, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
