A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Cindy will be laid to rest at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Southside.
In 1981, Cindy married the love of her life, Jimmie “Mo” Williams. She devoted 19 years of service to ABC Stores.
Cindy was known for her joyful spirit and wonderful sense of humor. Her laughter was truly priceless, and she shared it often with those around her. She cherished her many friends and family members, especially her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
Above all, Cindy treasured her granddaughter, Bella. Bella was her everything, and that special love was returned in equal measure. The bond they shared was precious and will remain forever in Bella’s heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmie “Mo” Williams; parents, William Travis “Bud” Phillips and Mattie Geraldine “Dink” Phillips; brothers, Brent, Steve and Terry; sister, Scarlett McClendon; grandson, Kade; and brothers-in-law, Larry, Johnny, Randy, Gary and Jerry.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Kristy Perkins; son-in-love, Bryon Perkins; granddaughter, Bella Perkins; brothers, Bruce (Patsy) Phillips and Ronnie (Judy) Phillips; many beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
Cindy was loved by so many, and the precious memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
