Mrs. Clara Nell Bradley

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Lebanon Cemetery for Mrs. Clara Nell Bradley, age 82, of Gadsden, who went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2010. Pastor Mark Gidley will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Service directing.

Mrs. Bradley was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She filled each person she met with love and happiness. She will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Bradley was retired from McGuffey Health Care.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Clifton Bradley; parents, Cranford and Della Bishop; sisters, Louise Roe and Mary Lou Jackson; brothers, Harold Bishop and Travis Bishop; and great grandson, Hunter Scott.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Martha) Bradley and Gary (very special friend, Debbie Vinson); granddaughters, Dedra (Greg) Belyeu and Crystal (Bubba) Scott; grandson, Josh Bradley; great grandsons, Presley Belyeu, Peyton Scott and Jordan Scott; brother, Lamar (Willie) Bishop and Wayne (Jean) Bishop; and special nephew, Eddie Hough.

Pallbearers will be Alton Roe, Bubba Scott, Curtis Roe, Eddie Hough and Ernie Anderson.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Alacare Health, Dr. Erwin Peyton, Dr. James Foran, Dr. Asif Kaleem, Nurse, Lana Smith, the 9th floor staff at UAB Hematology, as well as friend and caregiver, Wanda Stephens and special friends, Gail Roden and Gloria Thurmond.

The one who bears the sweetest name and adds a luster to the same, who shares my joys, who cheers when sad, the greatest friend I ever had, for there’s no other can take the place of my dear mother.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
