

Claudette Miller, of Mobile, Alabama, was born on February 10, 1944, to Claud and Wanda Haynes. She passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 82. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful woman of God whose life was a beautiful reflection of love, strength, and devotion.
Claudette was raised with deep family values and carried those values throughout her entire life. She had one brother, Glenn Haynes, whom she loved dearly. Claudette was truly the rock of her family. She spent her life helping, loving, guiding, and caring for those around her, always putting her family first. No matter the circumstance, she was there with a helping hand, a listening ear, and a heart full of love.
She was blessed with four children, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Claudette is survived by her daughters, Sylva Tillman and Leslie Miller; her grandchildren, Monica, Patrick, Tiffany, Breena, Christian, Aniston, Kahle, and Sieanna; and her great-grandchildren, Tristan, Albany-Nicole, Logan, Kayleb, Hayden, Jackson, Serenity, Alyssa, James Leo, Levi, Enzo, and Gwendolyn.
Claudette is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved sons, Terry Besselaar and Tracy Besselaar, along with her parents, Claud and Wanda Haynes, and her brother, Glenn Haynes. Toward the end of her life, Claudette shared that she was ready to go home and be with her parents, brother, and sons. Her faith in God remained strong, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the arms of the Lord.
To her family, there was no better person than Claudette. She lived an amazing life filled with love, faith, sacrifice, and devotion. Her presence was a gift, her love was unconditional, and her legacy will continue through every life she touched. She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love, wisdom, and strength in their hearts.
Claudette will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
