Connie Hicks Chambers

Connie was born December 31, 1962 in Gadsden, AL. She was a 1981 graduate of Hokes Bluff High School, and a member of the color guard.

She loved art, her family, friends and people in general. Connie served as a security office at Noccalula Falls Park. Connie was preceded in death by her brother, James Ray Hicks and grandparents.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Kevin (Katlyn) Chambers; grandsons, Krowley Chambers and Dexter Chambers; parents, Cecil and Frances Hicks; sister, Phyllis (Tommy) Cash; brothers, Jeffery Hicks and David (Connie) Hicks and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Hicks, Lance Hicks, Jonathan Cash, Brandon Collins, Josh Henry and Brandon Hicks.

Honorary Pallbearers will be fellow co- corkers at Noccalula Falls Park, Christina, Mike and Cindy.

The family would like to extend special thanks to UAB Hospital nurses and staff and Katlyn Chambers.

A visitation for Connie will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Dustin Freeman will officiate.

Connie will be laid to rest in New Bethel Cemetery, Hokes Bluff, AL.
