John, I had your mom as a teacher at Gadsden State Junior!  I remember seeing driving her convertible on Rainbow Drive with the top down. I spent one summer in Topeka, Kansas on a summer mission trip.  Your parents had moved to Topeka.  We reconnected and I would spend my weekends off at their house.  You were a toddler at this time.  We lost contact over the years, but in reading her obituary you Mom led a rich life.  Have fond memories of your Mom.

Johnny, my heart goes out to you and your family  as I read of Connie's passing .  She was a gracious lady.    
It has been many years since you visited us in Tenn.  J.D. retired in 1989 and we also returned to Georgia & then Ala.  He had 30 good years doing as he pleased and passed away Nov. 2019.                            Our journeys were long and memorable, although sometimes difficult -May yours sustain you - God speed ahead.

Connie is signing a cookbook for me, as she did for many of her friends.  This is another example of Connie's generosity.  The friendship circle is a never-ending circle.  We have learned from Connie what it takes to be a true friend.  Rest in peace Dear Friend.

Connie was the leader of the bridge group at SeaChase in Orange Beach, Alabama.  She was generous, kind, honest, upbeat and she shared photos of all of us, plus photos of the sunrises on the beach.  She said that we should be grateful for the sunrises, because it means that God has given us a brand new day.  She began the tradition of our circle of friendship, with a toast, to those present and to those no longer with us.  You will always be with us dear Friend. 

This is Gene Dean with Computech. I haven't known you both for a short time, however it has been a pleasure to have served you.  Dr. Connie was very nice and I am sure you and your family will miss her. If I can help you Mr Floyd I am at your disposal.

My heart goes out to each of you hearing the  sad news of a wonderful loving woman who passed this world but is now in the arms of our Savior.  She gave so much of herself helping others. I was in PEO with Connie in Chapter R. I loved to be on committees with Connie. She was so fun to work with. She will be sadly missed. My condolences to the family and my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

We will always cherish the memories of times we got to spend with Connie.  Her kindness and warmth was such an awesome example of something we should all strive for. I am so, so very sorry for your loss.  On behalf of my husband, Ray, and my children, we are all sending our prayers and sympathy to you.

My heart breaks for you and your family as you and all of us say a loving goodbye to Connie, truly one of the kindest, sweetest and most fun people I've ever known.  She was a Champion Cheerleader like no one else, always so supportive and cheerful, truly and genuinely a beautiful positive light in this world.  

No matter what, Connie had only good things to say.  She was brilliant at letting the little things roll off her shoulders easily and only focusing on the silver linings.   I remember her saying, "None of that matters." Knowing her was one of the greatest blessings.  She was a joy to be around.  We have the greatest memories with all of you.   I know that my Mom and Dad will welcome her with open arms.    

Connie was a teacher - at life, at pushing through difficult circumstances with a smile and at no nonsense.  She said it like it was, and I couldn't possibly admire and respect her more.  She was a dear friend, and I'll miss her dearly as I know all of you with.  My heart goes out to you all.

May the endless good memories fill your hearts with laughs and joy, just how she would have wanted it to.  With all the love in the world, we share in your loss and send prayers and sympathy, Margie Dunki-Jacobs and family
